Our Policies
APG’s core workplace values are Teamwork, Integrity, People, Passion and Safety. APG endeavours to apply these values to all business operations.
APG have developed an Integrated Management System Plan which uphold the requirements against the accredited standards and for which we have established our commitments listed within APG’s policies:
- Quality Management System (QMS), ISO 9001:2015;
- Occupational Health and Safety Management System (WHS), ISO 45001:2018;
- Environmental Management System (EMS), ISO 14001:2015.
Quality Policy
APG is committed to delivering quality services that meet customer and regulatory requirements, while enhancing customer satisfaction. This includes a commitment to continual improvement of the Quality Management System (QMS) and the consistent delivery of services aligned with our core values of Teamwork, Integrity, People, Passion, and Safety.
This policy is appropriate to the purpose, size, and context of the organisation and supports APG’s strategic direction.
APG is committed to:
- Consistently meeting customer, statutory, and regulatory requirements;
- Providing suitable and competent candidates that meet client expectations;
- Enhancing customer satisfaction through effective service delivery and relationship management;
- Effectively managing nonconformities, complaints, and feedback to drive improvement;
- Maintaining workforce capability through training, development, and competency management;
- Achieving continual improvement in quality performance and the effectiveness of the Quality Management System;

APG ensures that employees and candidates are aware of and understand the Quality Management System and their role in contributing to its effectiveness, including compliance with system requirements and the achievement of quality objectives.
APG’s Management Team is responsible for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and continually improving the Quality Management System and ensuring that adequate resources are available.
This policy provides a framework for setting, monitoring, and reviewing quality objectives and targets, taking into account customer requirements, risks and opportunities, and organisational performance.
The Quality Management System is established, implemented, maintained, and continually improved to ensure it remains suitable, adequate, and effective.
This policy is:
- Communicated to all employees and candidates working on behalf of APG;
- Available to relevant interested parties, as appropriate;
- Maintained as documented information; and
- Reviewed periodically to ensure it remains relevant and aligned with organisational needs and the requirements of ISO 9001.
WHS Policy
APG is committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment for all employees, candidates, and relevant stakeholders. This includes a commitment to the prevention of work-related injury and ill health and to the continual improvement of the Work Health and Safety (WHS) Management System.
This policy is appropriate to the purpose, size, and context of the organisation and supports APG’s strategic direction.
APG is committed to:
- Eliminating hazards and reducing WHS risks so far as reasonably practicable;
- Providing and maintaining safe systems of work and safe working environments;
- Fulfilling all applicable legal and other WHS requirements;
- Achieving continual improvement in WHS performance and the effectiveness of the WHS Management System;
- Establishing, implementing, and maintaining measurable WHS objectives and targets that focus on:
- Providing a safe working environment for all employees and candidates;
- Reducing workplace injuries and incidents;
- Promoting a strong and positive safety culture;
- Supporting early and safe return to work outcomes.
APG is committed to consultation and participation of employees and candidates in all aspects of the WHS Management System. This includes:
- Hazard identification;
- Risk assessment and implementation of controls;
- Incident reporting and investigation;
- Development and review of WHS procedures and controls.
APG recognises its responsibilities as a labour hire provider and is committed to working collaboratively with host employers to ensure safe working conditions through site assessments, effective communication, and ongoing monitoring.

Environmental Sustainability and Climate Change Policy
APG is committed to environmental sustainability and addressing climate change by minimising the environmental impact of its operations and supporting responsible business practices. This includes a commitment to the protection of the environment, including prevention of pollution, sustainable resource use, and consideration of climate change impacts, as well as fulfilment of compliance obligations and continual improvement of environmental performance and the Environmental Management System (EMS).
This policy is appropriate to the purpose, size, and context of the organisation and supports APG’s strategic direction, including consideration of environmental conditions, risks, and opportunities.
Commitments
APG is committed to:
- Reducing the environmental impact of its operations through the effective management of environmental aspects and impacts;
- Improving resource efficiency and managing climate change impacts associated with business activities, including paper consumption, waste generation, and business travel;
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable environmental legal and other requirements;
- Continually improving environmental performance and the effectiveness of the Environmental Management System;
- Minimising waste generation and promoting reuse and recycling practices;
- Promoting environmental awareness and environmentally responsible practices among employees, candidates, and relevant stakeholders.
APG considers environmental aspects and impacts across its operations, including paper use and printing, waste generation and recycling, energy use, procurement and supplier activities, labour hire placements, travel-related emissions, and other environmental aspects where APG has direct control or can reasonably influence outcomes.
Environmental Objectives and Targets
This policy provides the framework for establishing, implementing, monitoring and reviewing environmental objectives and targets.
- Environmental objectives are developed in consideration of:
- Significant environmental aspects and impacts;
- Compliance obligations;
- Environmental risks and opportunities;
- APG's operational activities and level of environmental control or influence;
- Continual improvement of environmental performance.
Environmental objectives are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and time-bound (SMART) and include:
- Reducing paper usage and printing through digital-first business practices;
- Maintaining effective recycling and waste management practices across APG offices;
- Promoting environmental awareness through induction, onboarding, toolbox talks and internal communications;
- Supporting energy efficiency through office shutdown practices and responsible use of equipment;
- Reducing travel-related environmental impacts where reasonably practicable;
- Considering environmental impacts during supplier selection and procurement activities where applicable;
- Preventing environmental incidents and maintaining compliance with applicable environmental obligations.
Environmental Management System
The Environmental Management System is established, implemented, maintained, and continually improved to ensure it remains suitable, adequate, and effective in achieving APG’s environmental commitments.
APG ensures environmental performance is supported by:
- Documented procedures, processes, and controls;
- Defined roles, responsibilities, and accountabilities;
- Consistent data collection using defined operational records and registers;
- Internal audits and scheduled environmental inspections;
- Corrective and preventive actions to address non-conformances and improvement opportunities;
- Consideration of lifecycle impacts where applicable, including procurement, supplier selection, and office consumables.
Legal and Compliance Obligations
APG is committed to identifying, understanding, and complying with all applicable environmental legislation, regulations, and other requirements relevant to its operations.
Communication and Awareness
This policy is:
- Communicated to all persons working for or on behalf of APG;
- Available to relevant interested parties, as appropriate;
- Maintained as documented information;
- Reviewed at planned intervals to ensure continued relevance.
Environmental awareness is promoted through:
- Induction training, including environmental responsibilities and expectations;
- Monthly toolbox talks and internal communications;
- Ongoing HSEQ updates and compliance reminders;
- Visual workplace communication, including recycling and sustainability messaging.
Continual Improvement
APG is committed to continually improving environmental performance and the effectiveness of its Environmental Management System through measurable objectives, performance monitoring, internal audits, and management review processes.
Anti Corruption and Bribery Policy
APG’s core workplace values are Teamwork, Integrity, People, Passion and Safety. APG endeavors to apply these values to all business operations.
APG pride ourselves on acting with integrity and honesty in all business operations. Corruption and bribery undermine legitimate business activities and exposes the business and its employees to significant risks. APG are committed to a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption.
APG’s core value of integrity includes constantly complying with the laws of the country in which we operate. We will uphold all laws relevant to countering bribery and corruption in Australia.
This Policy applies to all APG employees, candidates, contractors and agents of APG.
APG employees are required to act in a professional manner with accountability and transparency at all times and commit to the following:
- Never offering, paying, soliciting or accepting bribes in any form;
- Never offering or accepting an item, money, travel, hospitality, entertainment or other token of appreciation that may be construed or used by others to allege favoritism, discrimination, collusion or similarly unacceptable practices;
- Never engaging in any form of corrupt business practice, whether for the benefit of APG, the individual or another party.
APG Top Management will review this policy at a minimum on an annual basis.
