APG Workforce at Foodpro 2026
Foodpro 2026 gave the APG Workforce team the chance to get right amongst Australia’s food manufacturing industry, meet the people behind it and see what’s changing across the sector.
Kelly, Glenn, David, Bill, Dhaval, Khristian, Marie, Steph, Lora and Shayla attended across the three days, spending time at our stand and exploring the expo.
Getting a closer look at the industry
Glenn, Bill and Dave spent plenty of time walking the Foodpro floor, speaking with exhibitors and industry professionals about what they’re seeing across food manufacturing.
From new machinery and automation to changing production processes and technology, it was a valuable opportunity to see firsthand how the industry is evolving.
For APG Workforce, which supports businesses across food production, processing, packaging and warehousing, these conversations also help us better understand the recruitment and workforce needs developing across the industry.
Conversations, connections and a few raffles
Back at the APG stand, there was plenty happening too.
As one of the few recruitment and workforce providers exhibiting at Foodpro, we had a great opportunity to bring the people side of food manufacturing into the conversation.
Kelly also quickly became our resident raffle master, getting visitors involved in our draws and creating plenty of opportunities for the team to meet new people.
Marie described the expo as an inspiring opportunity to see the machinery and products driving innovation in food manufacturing, while exchanging ideas with passionate professionals.
As she put it:
“I genuinely believe this is the beginning of some great relationships and exciting opportunities. Looking forward to seeing what the future holds.”
Looking ahead
Foodpro was a great reminder of why staying connected to the industries we recruit for matters.
The better we understand how food manufacturers operate and where the industry is heading, the better we can support businesses with recruitment and workforce solutions that meet their needs.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by the APG Workforce stand, entered a raffle or had a chat with the team. We’re looking forward to continuing the conversations started at Foodpro 2026.
