Racing for a Cause: APG Springwood Joins Pink Ribbon Day at Aquis
A Day to Remember
On Saturday, our Springwood team, including Tracey, our one of APG's State Managers, and Rhiannon, Spingwood Branch Manager, joined the crowd at the Aquis Race Track on the Gold Coast for Pink Ribbon Day. It wasn’t just about the horses, though a few lucky punts certainly added to the excitement. It was about coming together to support the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF).
A Proud Contribution
This year, APG had the privilege of donating a custom surfboard for the fundraising auction. Seeing it go under the hammer was a special moment for our team, knowing that every dollar raised would go towards vital breast cancer research.
Australia’s Largest Community Fundraise
Pink Ribbon Day is more than an event; it’s a movement. Thousands gather each year to honour those affected by breast cancer and to fuel NBCF’s mission of zero deaths from breast cancer by 2030. Being part of that momentum means a lot to us.
The Heart of it All
The spirit of Pink Ribbon Day lies in its people, families, friends, survivors, supporters, all uniting for the same purpose. Our Springwood team was proud to stand among them, sharing in both the fun and the fight against breast cancer.
