Rain, Games and Community Spirit at AgQuip 2025
On 20 August 2025, our very own Sunny and Hudson packed up their umbrellas, grabbed a microphone, and headed to AgQuip in Gunnedah to volunteer with Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC).
Their mission was to bring some fun to the crowd as game show hosts. They encouraged people to try their luck at a game of chance or join a lively round of “Helping Hats.” With a speaker in hand and plenty of banter, they kept spirits high and helped raise money for a cause that is close to all our hearts.
The weather did its best to dampen the fun with heavy rain, but Sunny and Hudson made the most of it. They kept the energy going and even managed to snap some photos before the skies really opened up.
A Heartfelt Thank You
After the event, we received a lovely note from Elissa Wesche, Community Engagement Coordinator at RHMC:
“Thank you very much again as always for APG’s ongoing support. We are forever grateful for not only the extra hands at events, but the love continuously shown by your team to our House. We couldn’t have done it without them.”
Messages like this remind us why we keep showing up. It is about more than just helping on the day. It is about building community and supporting families when they need it most.
Why We Do It
At APG Workforce, we believe in rolling up our sleeves (or grabbing a mic) to give back wherever we can. Whether it is lending a hand at a local fundraiser, volunteering at events like AgQuip, or supporting charities such as RMHC, our team is always ready to jump in and make a difference.
Even with the soggy weather, the day was still a success. For us, it is not about the rain, it is about the impact, and that is something we are proud to be part of.
